7 Month Update

Well it has been quite awhile since I have been on here.  Things have just been crazy.  Anyway I thought I would give you all an update.  I had open Gastric Bypass December 5th 2006.  July 5th I will be 7 months out.  To date I have lost 93 lbs.  Yay!  I would still like to lose another 50 ish.  Anyway I would like to thank you all for your support!~

Hi had questions about your Dr. did you like him and the care you got at the hospital in RC. I have a friend who also had him and thought he was great. I am thinking going in for a consult with him on the surgery. Did you have to have all pre- consult visits (nutritionists etc) even before seeing the DR? I want this to work and i am determined to get the best Dr. That why all the questions. Thanks Libraryjeanne

CONGRATULATIONS!  THAT IS FANTASTIC!  I just went to my one year out doctor visit and I've lost 135 lbs since my surgery; 150 since highest weight.  He was so impressed - I was hoping for more but he thought that was great.  He told me no more than 20 more, but I would like at least 30 more.  I would like to have a "cushion".  :(
