I cannot get in the chatroom!

Hi, I have tried so hard to get in this chat room, but nothing comes up! Just a big blank square! Anyone else having the same problem?? I am on Explorer and not AOL either! Help!

Sandy, When the box is empty, no one is in the chat room. The only time I have found anyone in there is between 8pm-9pm. I can never get in there at that time, it is always later for me. So I usually go in the general chat room. It is usually 9:30 to 10:00 pm before I can get in the chat room. Hope this helps. Alisha pre-op (waiting insurance approval)

It's neat to know there are other people from SD doing the same thing. I live in Martin and am 12 days post op. Doing WONDERFUL and 30 pounds gone today!!

Hi Lori - I didn't realize there was a SD page either. I am post op (approx 7 weeks), from the Yankton area. Not sure that I would have any advice, I still have a lot of questions myself, but is good to know there are others in the area going through this same thing. Good luck on your journey. Sheri

Sandy, Keep trying. Last Saturday I got the same thing and later in the evening it came up normal. If your in, you will see you name in a column on the right, as well as anyone else in the chat. Don't give up!!! Pat

I CAN'T EITHER!!!!! My problem isnt a blank box though. Mine just gives all these reasons why I can't get in and asks me to try another browser. I am soooooooooooo computer ignorant I haven't a clue what they are talking about. Maybe someone can help me? I would love to get in there and share some stories. :0)

I had the same problem on several occasions so I looked on the q & a. What it said was if you can't get in shut down not just your server but your computer and start over. I have done this and that has corrected my problem. If anyone wants to chat at different times send my and email as I am usually available since I don't work, Annette

Dear Sandy, I was hoping you would get in. I have found, and I don't know if this happens to anyone else but---If I can't get in I shut down my computer and start fresh and I can get in. Try that. Now when you get th box you don't see where it says to enter name and then hit enter room? Hope you get in tonight. Diane in Kannapolis

LOL !!! Hi Brianna!!! Yes, we started dating...everything is going pretty well. Right now I am on furlo (35 days off yippeeee!!) so we have more time to be together. Since I am on the midnight shift and he is on afternoons, this vacation is making it soooo much easier! We're planning on a bunch of great "tourist" type of things while I'm on vacation. There are thousands of things to do in this city and now that I actually have time to enjoy it, I don't plan to waste a single minute. I'm thinking Sox game, Navy Pier and archetecture cruise on the Chicago River for starters..... I am really amazed how much has changed in my life in the last 6 months. There were so many things I let pass me by in the past....well, I guess timing is everything, right? I hope all is well with you....I haven't checked the boards lately, but saw another post from you which I will be checking out.... take care, Paula
