I had Gastric Sleeve 1 1/2 weeks ago in West Cola. SC. Live in Conway but from Lexington SC. I go to Dr. Ed McCarthy in Surfside at Medicine of Saybrook. He was fully cooperative with me and did exactly what was needed to help get my surgery approved. Please ask her to contact me here if needed.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I'll check those sites out. I know what you mean about getting more for your money. That's why I stopped ordering from BA, BE & Unjury when I got laid off.
Thansk again,
Lisa

I order a lotof vitamins and supplements for a few sites.
vitacost.com
luckyvitamins.com
netrition.com
vitaminshoppe.com (they also have stores in our area - i know there is at least one in Greenville)
I usually can get all my supplements from that. well -exept D3. I get mine in 50,000 IU - that now I take only 2-3 times a week.
The Centrum chewable - I get from walmart. Good vitamins and cheap.
As much as I like the BA and Unjury - they are bit on a pricy side - and I try to get more for $$.

Topic: Hello Again - Been Off of Here for Awhile
Hello everyone,
My six year anniversary is in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to get back on track. My weight loss stalled after a hysterectomy in April 2006, and started increasing after I went on hormones. I've also been unemployed for the last 2 years except for a couple of short term temp assignments.
The bariatric vitamins and supplements became too expensive for me to purchase. I bought store vitamins; chewable calcium citrate, B12 & liquid Centrum. Sometimes I bought regular multi-vitamins & just crushed them. I also took the B12 shot when I could until the prescription ran out.
I have an appointment with my surgeon on 9/15 to discuss my options to deal with weight gain. I haven't gained it all back but enough to be concerned. I ordered some sample vitamins & protein powder from Bariatric Advantage & Unjury. I can't remember the other websites I used to order from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
It's good to be back.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi,
I had VSG in Columbia. There is a support group at Baptist Hospital. I'll look up the days and times if you're interested.
Welcome to the area!

Hi there. Looking for people in this area who have had wls surgery.
I had mine by a surgeon in GA so don't even have a support group here to attend.
I still don't know anyone in this area but am hoping once I'm able to find a job that will change.
I would love to hear from anyone out here that's in my area!
