If it's at the hospital they will take your medical history unless Dr. Bour sends it with you or to them ahead of time. They will do blood work, EKG, and vital signs. Some people require a chest X-ray, I didn't have one. It's nothing bad or out of the ordinary, just one step closer to your new life.

I had mine done in Greenville, at Upstate Plastic surgery Dr. Lovett. I am more than happy with how it turned out ,and other than my RNY, it was the best thing I have done for myself. But like everything else, all people are different and the results might not be as you expected them to be no matter who you use. Get different consults and determine which doctor is best for you.

Topic: An exciting step to head to SC
Well keep your fingers crossed , I put in alot of applications and today I got my first call!!!! I am thinking before long I will be talking funny and likin grits...heheheh ... I will still say the sounds of a women saying hi sweetie in a southern voice still melts me..... anyway I am going to make an quick trip down next Friday to go do the interview so we will see how this all falls into place...... Anybody wanna meet up with Dianne and i for dinnner on Friday let me know..... love to meet some of you nice folks.....
I am glad to see summer is moving forward here in Ky i love the 80 degree days and the 50 degree nights...... I have been wearing out the convertable......
So what else is exciting going on everyones life? Anybody got aning fun and excited planned this week?
Me Nadda I got to get back to the gym..... Im kickin my a$$ for not going back in a week.... I started to do the scale this morning and kicked it under the desk....grrrrrr.... next week i will get back on it......

My surgery preassesment is tomorrow and I was wondering what is it going to be like? What kinds of tests and stuff will they be doing?

Dr Anttontte, the same Surgen that did my RNY, he said he could do a Basic Tummy Tuck , but for any other PS he would refer me,I was a little hesitant but after doiing some research & asking some point blank questions, I went with him. My advise is start filing with the insurance a few months before because they are ALWAYS going to balk the 1st few times and/or require this or that . They told me I had to wait at least 18 months but ended up approving it in 15 months lol

Hi Linda, Riverside alsodid my RNY in 06 ,I had somethings that wereself inflicted ( deyhdration being one) anyway, 2 weeks outI was doing great , then the trouble started ,again,self induced,I got in such a wreck that I would even cry at anything or nothing at all !! My Dr hooked me up with lexapro, 2 days later I could laff again !! Please dont be depressed when it is so much help out there ! This is a guy saying I got depressed !! and I STILL take them, they have made me a much nicer person to be around !
Also, sweetheart your on a road trip that is going make you feel SO MUCH BETTER than you can imagine!! Hang in there !!
