Congrats!!!! 
I know you feel so much better. I am a little over a year out and have lost 135 lbs. As for celebrating, I always buy a new outfit, LOL. Even if it comes off the clearance rack, LOL or goodwill.

Thank you all. I am feeling better. I ate some chicken noodle soup (just the juice) and it made me start feeling better. They heaviness is in my belly. I think I either ate too much or there was something wrong with that soup from the hospital. Needless to say, I am too scared to try it again. I am looking forward to the day that I am feeling better. Today is 2 weeks outs. Compared to then I am feeling great. Tried to lay on the couch but my chest feels so heavy. So still stuck in the chair. I am just taking it day by day right now. But again thanks for all your input! Again I love this site!!!

Treat yourself to an indulence...such as nails, hair, massage or some pampering that you like. Have dinner with family or friends, put together a scrapbook of all your before and after pictures to share.
CONGRATS on all your weight loss goals! That is quite an accomplishment!

I HAVE MADE IT I AM OFFICIALY ONE YEAR OUT ON TODAY AND I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 140 POUNDS. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO CELABRATE ANY SUGGESTIONS???

I still have good days and bad. Some days I feel like I could do it all and others I feel like I couldn't walk to the bathroom. When you said "heavy" feeling is it in your head/neck/arms if so for me that meant mt blood pressure was low. The Dr. took me off my meds Tues and I have slowly started to feel less heavy feeling. Hope that helps. P&PT's.

Hang in there Angie. You had major surgery and it is even worse because you had open. You will be tired....feel yucky, etc., but I promise it gets better ... and done day you will say that it was worth it all!

YES YOU WILL FEEL LIKE THIS FOR A WHILE YOU HAD MAJOR SURGERY !!! I felt like crap for a while no engery for a long time ,it will get alot better trust me ,I could not stand for any period of time I would get sick just rest & relax for now
