Topic: Mary needs our prayers
Her step daugher has very low blood levels and she is in ICU at MUSC. They have given her several transfusions and are apparently she isn't producing any so they are concerned and she is in critical condition.
Okay, I don't know much about medical things, but this is what I understood. Long and short, please put Mary and her family in your prayers.
Topic: RE: Home with some questions
Hey Jess, glad to know your doing good. I know everyone is different, but I was the same way and 18 months later, I still don't get that "full" sensation like I thought I would. I have to be really careful eating because if I do eat too much I get a sick feeling, almost like dumping, and my food will start to stick and not go down. Be sure to measure everything and you should be OK. Can't wait to see your weight loss progress over the next few months, it's exciting for all of us seeing the neebies getting skinny, lol. Congratulations on being a LOSER!
Hugs!
Mary

Hi Jess
Welcome to your new life. I am glad things went well for you. When I came home-I never felt the fullness either. I don't know if I ever have and I am 18 months out. If you just stick to what they tell you to, its going to be fine. I thought in the first weeks I did not feel full because it was liquid, and liquids go straight thru. They don't fill up the pouch like food would. I don't know-just my thought
But congratulations. If you do what they tell you to do-you'll do great and the pounds will start falling away

That is fantastic, Teresa!! I know how great it feels to get rid of the meds - I'm down to just one prescription now & it is awesome! Keep up the good work, take it one day at a time, and keep in touch...
