I didn't have the band or have byrne but i can tell u that he is an awesome dr. I would recommend him to anyone. I use to work for him at musc but he went to the new hospital and I stayed here. I'm sure u will get more responces from byrnes patients. He's great! I know a few other nurses here that have had the band by him and they are doing great!

I have been exercising every day. I am going to be missing today due to things I will be doing this evening.
I am craving and missing it already.
Are we sure this is not a sign of sickness?? Never missed exercise before, actually always had tried to avoid it.

I'm here in Beaufort and I'm just starting the process of getting the lap band. What was your experience with the doctor and with beaufort memorial hospital?

That sounds awesome. I too have lost like 30lbs in 3 weeks. Yeah I too miss the chewing but it seems to be getting better. Keep up the good work.

Congrats!! I had my surgery just a couple of days before you. I went for my 1 month post-op yesterday. My offical weight loss since surgery is 33lbs!! I'm also excited. I had the same experience with pants as you. It's kind of amazing since right after surgery I felt like a bloated whale. Great job, keep on loosin'!

33 lbs is awesome for 3 weeks you're doing great. That's 11 lbs a week just think if you continue on that track you'll be to goal in no time.
Now you're going to have stalls so don't get discouraged. Keep up the good work!!
