The problem is that you are eating what you want.  You must only eat the high in protein, low in fat, no sugar diet.  Beginning to eat like this so early is only setting yourself up for failure and eventual weight gain.  I'm sure, like everyone else, that getting to this point was long, tiring and it just couldnt get here quick enough.  I would definitely talk with your doctor and start keeping an honest food journal and talk with your nutritionist as well.  Good luck to you!

Topic: Newbie.. I had the RNY on 9/6/11/ Weightloss question
Hi!! My name is Nicole, I am 26 years old and I had the RNY done on September 6, 2011 in Columbia by Dr. Glen Strickland. I am doing okay, however I have not lost any weight in almost 2 weeks?? Have any of you experienced this before??

I weighted 284 the day of surgery and I weight 264 now!! Also, how have you all been doing with eating? I am actually doing very well, I can eat almost anything I want. Which worries me, cause ppl I know that have had this surgery done couldn't hardly eat anything and lost alot of weight. I can't eat alot, but I can eat. It worries me:(

Thanks

Topic: WLS set for 10/18/11
Hi!  I am a new member and have surgury set for 10/18/11.  I begin my journey today, as I start the 2 week pre-surgical diet.  My question is can I take the multi-vit, b,-12, etc by mouth, or do I need to get the chewable Vit and sublingual B-12.  I am very excited to embark on this journey.

Topic: RE: Gastric Bypass in Charleston SC any suggestions?
YES!!!  Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster!

These people have NO idea what they're doing. (Not sure about Dr. Mitchell himself but being a professional surgeon, I certainly would NOT have idiots running my office)

Got completely turned off and went to MUSC instead.
