OMG I am so sorry that he didn't give you enough drugs. Like I said before I had the scope done but I was knocked out cold. Thank god because otherwise NOTHING would be going down my throat. Is the prilosec not helping you any? I've never taken that but I do take Nexium and yes it does help me. I went about a month right after the scope with taking nothing, maybe longer then I had to start back up. I go back to the Dr again this month so he's probably going to be doing that scope again to stretch me back out. I really hope you get some relief soon because I know how bad it hurts. Congrats on the 30 lbs you're off to a fantastic beginning. Keep it up!!

YEAH!!!HEY EVERYONE, JUST HAD TO TELL SOME BODY.  TODAY WAS MY 1ST MONTH APPT.  I HAVE LOST 30 PDS.  I CAN NOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I LOST 3 PDS MUCH LESS 30.  ON A DIFFERENT NOTE, I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS DRINKING OR EATING, JUST SEEMS TO GO DOWN AND SITS THE PAIN GETS WORSE UNTIL.  I HAD TO HAVE AN EGD TODAY TO SEE IF I HAD A STRICTURE OR ULCER--NOPE!!! JUST INFLAMMED, BACK TO LIQUIDS, NEVER REALLY WENT TO OTHER FOODS ANYWAY.  THE SCOPE WAS HORRIBLE, DR HAWS AT MUSC DID IT AND DID NOT GIVE ME ENOUGH ANESTHESIA-SO I WAS AWAKE AND IN PAIN THE ENTIRE TIME.  DR BYRNE WAS FURIOUS WITH DR HAWS.  I KEPT TRYING TO TELL THEM I WAS HURTING BUT THEY WOULD NOT PAY ME ANY ATTENTION.  I AM DEHYDRATED SO THEY PUT IN TWO BAGS OF FLUIDS BY IV.  I AM REALLY PISSED ABOUT THE ANESTHESIA.  I REALLY AM TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE.  I AM POSITIVE I WILL NOT GO THRU THAT AGAIN, UNLESS I AM OUT COLD. HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE?? WELL AT LEAST I CAN NOW JOIN THE LOSERS BENCH.  HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL NEXT TUESDAY THE 8TH. JOANN

I am so glad that the group is gonna start back up but I don't think I will make it until after this baby is born in August but I really need support. I have pretty much been on bedrest the whole pregnancy and need to get myself together again after the baby. I gained about 10 lbs during the holidays before I found out I was pregnant and I need motivation to restart. HOpe to see everyone soon. I will try to make it. Tina Z

I am on prilosec and I have an appt tomm.  I seem to burp a lot-which helps with the pain.  I was thinking that I irritated something and just needs a couple of days to subside.  But I will def talk with the dr tomm. JoAnn
