Topic: Anyone Lapband Revised to VSG
I had a lapband installed August 4, 2008 and did pretty well weight loss-wise.  April 2011, it had to be removed due to an erosion.  I am now interested in getting a sleeve and was looking for anyone who was similar.  I think am using Dr. *****ett.

Hi, Stayce.

I too am a military dependant and will be having surgery with Dr. Franga.  Although I cannot answer as to how the support is after surgery, I can say that the pre-surgery support has been great.  Last week, I met with the dietician and she seemed very informative, generous with her time, and confident in seeing others through their surgeries.
I see that your post is dated October 24 and I am responding November 17.  Perhaps you have already had your surgery or are farther along in the process than me. If so, I would love the opportunity to pick your brain as to what you  think or thought about the process and find out which support group you have joined that is close to post.
I hope to hear back from you and hope this finds you in health and happiness.

Kindest regards!

Topic: Missing Sheltie on Daniel Island
Hi SC OH friends.   I got word of this missing dog from a friend of mine who runs a doggie day care in SC.  I just wanted to share it here to put the word out in case someone from OH sees him.  I feel so bad for this family.  I have Shelties myself and they are like my kids.   Thanks so much for looking.

Topic: Surgery at Fort Jackson
I am meeting my Surgeon for the first time next Tuesday. I am a Military Dependant and will be having my surgery with Dr.Franga at Moncrief on Ft. Jackson. I will be having the VSG surgery. Is there anyone else that's a Military Dependant and had the suregery at Ft. Jackson? If so, how has the support been with Dr.Franga and the Dietitian?
