Topic: RE: I've been outta daLoop !
Hey Stephanie!!!!!!! Where the heck have you been? I though of you yesterday when I saw that Rick was gonna be on Regis and Kelly. The board is just not the same anymore without you and the rest of the upstaters that used to be here everyday. I'm at a point where I need support and encouragement now more than ever and I wi**** was like it was almost 2 years ago when I first discovered this board. I lurk everyday but don't see any activity much and I'm not one to start anything, so I just hang out and lurk then go away. We need a big reunion. Don't stay away so long.

Yeah, I miss the wit and honesty of the upstaters! LOVE the low country crew but have to admit the board just isn't the same anymore!

Hi Ron! I'm sorry to not have introduced myself before but I mostly lurk here now. Your post is powerful and really spoke to me. It must be challenging to be in a new place with new stresses and still have to maintain your tool and not succumb to the triggers of daily life. I'm not there yet, I'm only 18 months out and still in the "honeymoon" phase but I am learning from those who have gone before me. Please feel free to post thoughts and feelings and struggles, that's what we're here for, to support each other! Whether you know it or not, you are an inspiration to us who are not as far along, the good AND the bad. I like to be prepared and seeing what struggles lie ahead doesnt scare me..it helps to prepare those of us who may feel that we've found the "magic" formula for weight loss. It's alot of work and will be for the rest of our lives! Keep your chin up..we're here for you!

WOW Ron, great post. This surgery has changed all of our lives so much and yes, we all struggle when we get 2 to 3 years out. I am at 2-1/2 yrs. out and am up about 10 lbs. at the moment. Making me crazy. My biggest problem is I have found I can drink wine and that seems to be my "transfer addiction". I am working on it but not much success at this point. Anyone else have this problem???

Hi Stephanie. I don't know where everyone has gone...the old regulars haven't posted in AGES. Hope you are well....
Topic: RE: Hello everyone...
Hi Annie. Congrats on your weight loss, that is WONDERFUL. What part of SC are you moving to?
Topic: RE: Plastics
Dr. Harvey did my plastics in DT Charleston. I had a TT and BA and it was around $11,500.00 (all inclusive). He did it outpatient in his surgery center. There are quite a few of us Charleston girls that have used him and we love him...
I also know Dr. B recommends the MUSC doctor. If you can get your insurance to cover it that is great, but they do it inpatient at MUSC which makes it a lot more expensive if insurance doesn't cover it.
Good Luck and keep us posted.
Topic: RE: Plastics
I live in the upstate of SC, so I can't be of any help with the doctor. I had a lower body lift ( belt lipectomy), breast lift with some reduction and I paid $11,700.00 out of pocket. My insurance wouldn't cover any of it. I wanted the thigh lift and arms done, but after talking to the surgeon and researching it, I decided not to get them. The PS said that thigh lifts are hard to heal and both leave a lot of scaring. I would rather have the lose skin than scars that can be seen.
Good luck to you!

Topic: RE: OT: Avon or Mary Kay Profitable???
I agree with eddie, i was a mark kay rep and you really need to do it full time to be profitable because you need to keep a supply of everything in you hoise where as avon seems like you only order when the customers order. Also with mary kay recuriting others to work under you is essential, but i do love the product.
