Topic: Calling all LCBB
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
The LCBB is going to meet at P***a Inn on Rivers Avenue on Tuesday, August 12th at approximately 5:30 p.m.
I hope we will have a good turnout.
Susann should be back from her sister's funeral in California and I'm sure she could use cheering up and our support.
Try to make plans to come. We would love to see everybody!

Topic: Help!! I am failing and not even a year out!!
Ok, i had my labs for my one year check up with dr bour last week and i go see him on my one year surgiversary on august 15th...ugh its been a year!! Anyway, i have gained 10 lbs in APril!!! is this supposed to be that difficult at not even a year out?? I joined a gym 4 weeks ago and lost 2 lbs and gained it again....i saw the nutritionist a couple of weeks ago cuz i was freaking out...i was heavier than my last appointement with her, by 1 lb....but still! So I am thinking of cancelling my one year check up because i have heard Dr Bour can be really rough on his patients...and i am in no mood for that right now, i am so discouraged. I dont eat sugar, i excercise like crazy, although since i have been so down, i have only made it to the gym a couple times in the past week or so...i never made it to 100 lbs lost....i made it to 99 lbs lost in april and that was it, now the scale is moving in the wrong direction. and its as if my body is fighting me every single step of the way!!
Topic: RE: For those of you that don't take dumping on sugar seriously or

Topic: RE: I've been outta daLoop !
Hey Stephanie!!!
Good to see you! Its been a hectic time for me as well. Work is going great, I switched from running to bicycling, I still run some-got a mini-triathlon in 2 weeks (400 meter swim, 12 mile bike ride, 3.2 mile run), got the Spinxfest marathon in late October (26 miles), and to cap it all off--and I KNOW you will LOVE this one--I have the "Goofy Challenge" in Disneyworld in Jan 2009. Its a 5K race on Friday AM, a 13 mile 1/2 marathon on Sat AM, and a 26 mile marathon on Sunday AM.....then its off to see the parks or to the hospital for leg cramps; don't know which one yet
I am bicycling about 80 miles/week, sometimes more. I bought this tandem bike attachment for my bike and my 8yr old and I go out for 20 miles or the first Dunkin Donuts whichever comes first (my bribe to her to go out for 20 miles). She is doing great on her part of the bike-we even crashed the other week and she thought it was "cool"...so I said great-just don't tell your Mom!!
I am down 130lbs, and last month I lost ANOTHER 140lbs; I am separated from my wife of 14yrs and we'll be divorced as of July 2009. Its VERY amicable, very friendly-she's a great person, a great woman, a great Mom and a great friend--we're just lousy spouses together. The kids are doing well, I got a place thats only 1.9 miles away from them so I am within jogging distance. Split custody of course--could not talk her into giving me sole custody (she wouldn't anyway-she loves being a Mom).
So it has been a very busy month. Separating-getting a mrtgage (which is an ordeal nowadays in itself), and moving-settling in-buying everything from toilet brushes to learning what "sheers" are---never knew what they were or why I needed them. And getting that thingy that goes under the mattress but over the box spring and covers the box springs....I think its a ruffle or is that a potato chip?
And in my welcome to single Dad life, I had to bring my 11 yr old BRA SHOPPING last week. We went because there was no gun around for me to shoot myself in the head. That was an experience. "Dad-do you like this one or this one---in black or tan" "Excuse me sweetie while I go vomit-be right back...." Then to the mall to LOOK AT but we did not buy clothes from Aerostotle ??? and Holliestierer?????????? and American Eagle (I think I got that one right). And I imagine it just gets better and better from here on in.
So-overall, life is wonderful-except for every other week when I have an empty home. Then it just sucks, but I try to fill it with running and biking and now swimming and sitting around waiting for the kids to call me for dinner at their Moms (we do it once a week) and them calling to say goodnight
YOU look GREAT by the way!! And Vegas--so cool. And I never saw you as the camping type-I bet the trailer has a/c in it!!

Topic: It is almost my turn!!
Well, it is almost my turn. It feels like I have benn waiting forever. My surgery is scheduled for 8/4/08 at 2:30. I am really excited, but have not spoke with anyone about right after the surgery and the hospital stay. Feel free to fill me in on all the details. I would appreciate it.
Topic: RE: Susann's sister
I am so sorry for Susann. Do you have her address, I would like to send something. I lost my brother a few years ago, he was hiking in Germany and was lost for a week, when they found him it was too late. I still have lots of questions. Please tell Susann I will say a prayer for her and her family.
