Whew! I'm like Pam, got wore out just reading what you went through. I wish I had the ambition to do what you did, it sounds like fun.........NOT, lol. But I do envy anyone that can get up off the couch and get out and get healthy by exercising. It makes me sore and sweaty, somethings I just don't enjoy. Maybe that's why I can't lose these last few pounds and my weight is up and down by 5 pounds every month. Well hunting season is upon me so I will be getting out and walking more and yes I will be sweating, ugh! Anyway, your da' man to do what you did and  you look fantastic. I really wish I lived closer to everyone so I can have some exercise partners to help me get more motivated.
Well take care, I'm going to dust off the tredmill, lol.
Hugs!
Mary

I work at Clemson University and each Spring our President Barker and his wife lead a 3 K race to raise money for the library.  It's actually a fairly easy run (at least for people who are slightly in shape) or so I hear.  They even have team competitions.  Now, wouldn't that be fun??? We could have an upstate weight loss team!

I returned to work this morning and I have a good friend who competes in the same race you did this weekend but he said he "forgot" to sign up this year:-)  He was laughing when I told him about your division.  He remembered the pool being way longer than any swimming pool he had ever seen.  Bet you would easily agree with that assessment

Awesome report!!!!  And I would've tripped that 12 year old.   I just signed up to do the Walk from Obesity on September 27th.  I don't even know how long it is and I'm just hoping to finish LOL. I also love, love, love the philosphy reply.  It really does make perfect sense and its so easy to follow.   Anyway, have a wondeful day, cuz I know if I did what you did, I'd probably be signed up for an all day massage today.

Thank you and good luck! So has anyone ever had an upper GI after gastric bypass? whats it like? and what happens if there is not the restriction that is supposed to be there? Like if the stomach has fused together again? Another major surgery?
