Yup, I have a date....... NEXT WEEK!!!!!!! January 28th!!! 

I'm happy, but my heart is racing. I have a knot in my stomach. Wow, there are sooooo many different feelings. But I know I'm doing the right thing! I know I'm in good hands with Dr Byrne and his staff! I know this is my chance of a happier, healthier me!

We finally got a little snow......here in Laurens we got a good dusting...enough to close schools... DH had to still go to work...My youngest kitty  got to play in her first snow......She was so cute.  running and licking.....  the older one was like oh no that stuff again....let me back in  my feet are cold and my ears too.   how much did you recieve?

Unfortunetly, all of the BC/BS are all different. I had BC/BS of NC and my surgery was covered 100%. It all depends on what your employer wants in the policy. Alot of companies are cutting corners and try to keep the premiums lower so they omit a lot of things, like WLS.
Insurance companies suck! I just tried to renew the  life insurance for my husband ,which is required every year, and because he is a type2 diabetic they turned him down, but  we had the same coverage with the same company  over the past 7 years for him and we have always put it down that he has diabetes. It ****** me off that I paid out all of that money for that many years and now they won't cover him, and there is no way to get that money I paid out for the premiums back. I honestly think the whole world is going nuts, lol. I'm sorry to hear your having problems after surgery and I do wish you all the best. I will pray for you and hope that someone somewhere has enough sense to know  that if a person is sick ,no matter what it is caused from, that they deserve to get their medical sevices covered.

I hope we get some snow.   I have always wondered why people run out and get milk and bread......I would run out and get soup and crackers...lol  

Well, I'm missing SC right about now. But on the good side, I've lost a total of 168lbs in 9 months. Just wonderful!!! I  love shopping for clothes now. Its alot of fun. I haven't been able to follow up with Dr. Rowitz since July of last year. I just pray everything is okay.  Good luck to everyone because this is the best thing I've ever done except for having my daughter of course.
