So glad to hear she is doing good. Thanks for the banana shake recipe, but you could have added some protein powder to it, of course it would probably made it nasty. It's amazing how protein powder mixes can ruin a perfectly good thing!

Take care!

Topic: Finally home and banana shakes!
My mom has been home ever since 3:30 on Friday. She's been definitely resting and although the gas pains and the JP drain are annoying her, she's doing well. She has been resting and walking. She also has an appetite and is trying to get all the fluids she needs. I'm trying to plan all this and get everything right. it's difficult I've found, but I can do it! >^_^<

Also, today for breakfast mom was craving a banana shake. So, since we didn't want to search online for one, we made one of our own. I put 2 bananas in a magic bullet as well as 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar free Hershey cocoa, 5 ice cubes, and Weigh****chers vanilla yogurt. Mom thought it was delicious, so...I decided to give it a try and i think it's delicious! So, I just thought I'd give everyone else the recipe.

Tell her Welcome to the bench.  She sounds like she is doing great and will be walking soon.
