MS CHERYL'S HUBBY IS DOING BETTER!

YESTERDAY, MR JOE LOOKED LIKE DEATH WARMED OVER, BUT TODAY HE'S IN HIS "SMILEY" PJs COMPLAINING THAT HE WANTS TO GO HOME, SO IF NOTHING ELSE, THAT SAYS HE'S DOIN' SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER. THEY GOT HIS HEART MEDS & BLOOD PRESSURE STABALIZED WHICH MEANT THEY COULD REMOVE THE IV ... GOOD NEWS CUZ THE NITRATES WERE GIVING HIM A MAJOR HEADACHE. THE CHEST & STOMACH PAIN IS GONE AS WELL. HE'S BEEN OUT OF BED & HAS BEEN EATING REGULAR FOOD TODAY. ALL-IN ALL, A VERY GOOD DAY!! IT LOOKS LIKE HE'LL PROBABLY BE COMING HOME WEDNESDAY, BUT HE'S WANTIN' TO COME HOME TOMORROW. MS CHERYL'S MORE WHIPPED THAN HE IS; SHE'S BEEN SLEEPING ON THAT HARD, HARD CHAIR THAT TURNS INTO A "BED". SO, YOU CAN FIGURE THAT SHE ISN'T GETTING MUCH SLEEP AT ALL. ONE OR 2 MORE DAYS & THEY SHOULD BOTH BE RECOUPERATING IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR OWN HOME! THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS ... GOD BLESS Y'ALL DAWN & NICK

Oh, thank Goodness, and thanks to you for posting. I just came on to check on things after getting home from Charlotte, and that's the first thing I saw!! I know Cheryl is just exhausted. My dad was at MUSC, and they have an excellent heart department as well as their gastric surgery dept, so I now from recent experience that Joe is in the best of hands. I know those bed-chairs too well and have walked ruts in those hallways. I hope your check-up went well. Hope to see you Thursday. I miss you guys SO much!! We had the sweetest weekend with the grandbabies. They are little angels. I have lost 120 lbs now. Can't believe it! I caught sight of myself in a full-length mirror - I look like a shar-pei! We already knew you look like a Sharp Lady Barbara...and we have missed you. Thanks for the update Dawn and for keeping me posted. I spoke to Cheryl this afternoon and she was on her way home to eat, shower and change, so I didn't even mention going by the hospital. I told her to let me know if I could do anything and, please Dawn, if she needs anything, let me know. She is such a special person and I hate to see her going through this. Susann
