Lap Band at MUSC

I found out last week that Dr.'s Byrne and Morgan are starting to do the Lap band surgery at MUSC. They have not done one and are trying to get a group of 5 women with a BMI of at least 40 together before they start. I am so happy since after a year of research, I chickened out of getting a RNY. I wanted everyone to know that this is now an option for those like me who were too afraid of the RNY and are desperate to lose around 100 lbs and don't have too many comorbids.
