strange spasms

Over the last few days I have been having strange spasms under my left breast. They are not painful ...it is kind of like when your eyelid flutters for no reason. I wonder if it could be my pouch?? Someone mentioned it could be heart paplpetations(sp) but I hope that is not the case. ANy suggestions? Julie open rny 4may04

Julie I've had heart palpatations that sound exactly as you're describing. I call them flutters...like a big butterfly ! Have you had your iron checked lately? Anemia can cause heart palpatations. Keep us informed okay? Gr8 Big Hugs, Suuz

I'm clueless as to what could be causing it, but I hope you find out and feel better soon. If it doesn't quit, I would go see my doc.... Susann

An easy way to find out is to get one of those heart monitors you wear for exercising ... I think they're around $50 or less just about anywhere, Ms Julie. There is a monitor that you wear around your body under your breats, then you wear a "watch" that give you your HR info. By watching it over a period of time, you can tell if you're high, low or having irregular heart beats. This was what I wore for about a couple months when Doc was having so much trouble getting my heart meds re-regulated. Now, I wear it every so often just to see how I'm doing.
