Pre op liquid diet

Hi all, I've read on some peoples profiles who had surgery elsewhere that they go on liquids to shrink their liver prior to lap surgery. Does Dr Byrne have us do this ..if so when do we do this...just curious Lesley

Hey! Just wanted to share with you, that I will be having surgery on April the 28th...YEAH I will be having my preop on the 20th, so maybe then I can tell you more, then. I have read some of those post too, but I think it is other surgeons that do that, I think Chell

He mentioned it to me at my pre-op, but it did not sound required. He said they were going to start having those that get the lap band to do it. But others I know who had pre-op the day I did, said he did not say a thing about it to them. Hugs Julie
