Protein suppements
Could anyone help me with the protein stuff
I am getting myself confused. Could anyone give me names of stores and the protein shakes that you are using, so I can get some samples or atleast know where to go to start looking. It is getting me confused with the sugars or with out the sugars...how much sugar...how many calories...how many fat grams are ok. i am open to anyone's advice.
Thanks,
Chell

There is a website called bariatriceating.com they have a protein shake called protein delight. The bananna yogurt is really good. I mix mine with half a bananna and 1 cup of fatfree hood carb countdown milk. You can order ind sample packs for $ 1.75 so you can try it before you by a large amount. As far as sugar I try to not eat anything that has more than 4 sugars in it. But everyone is different. I dont even eat mashed pot, cereal, grits or fries. I dont want to know that I can or can not eat these foods.
Chell,
I use Unjury unflavored because you can add it to yor food...soups and things like that...20 g protein per serving (1 scoop)
I also buy Body Fortress Whey protein (vanilla and chocolate flavored) from Walmart.
3 net carbs/20g protein per serving (1 scoop). I use those to make my own shakes.
I think it might be the same kind as Julie post...but mine cost $12.00 for a 2lb cannister.
Hope this helps you out some.
Tonya
