Please come - that's what we're here for. JC's is on Ashley Phosphate Rd. in a shopping Center with Food Lion between Cross County Rd. and Dorchester. Not a good description, I know, but I'm not sure of the address. Lots of truly wonderful people in this group. We would love to meet you. Friends and family are welcome too. We're very casual and positive, so don't be nervous. We also get kind of rowdy and hug alot. Bring on your questions - we all might learn something new. Hope to see you tonight. B

Hey Barbara, What is JC's? Just curious. I only moved here 16 months ago from Mass. so I am familiar with the location, but unfamiliar with the facility. Do I need to bring anything? Thanks! Christine

Hey Christine, JC's is a wonderful bar and grill that Ms. Cheryl owns. We are so spoiled and lucky because she made us our own "special" menu. Just bring yourself, you don't have to order food, and there is always coffee, tea, water, or soft drinks. I'm not sure if I'll be there tonight, but the ladies there would love to meet you. Did anyone post the time y'all meet or did I just miss it? My pre-op went great but SOOOOOO long - longer than the surgery will take! Oh my heck, we were there from 9 AM-1 PM. Thank goodness my hubby does not work tonight so he did not miss sleep, but my hypoglycemia was rearing its ugly head by the time we got out of there; I guess it's because I have a bizarre host of allergies and complications, but I never thought I'd be there that long! Gotta run to get the kids from school and go out on the boat now- not sure if I'll be back in time to get there tonight, though I'd love to and I will try. All depends on where the spirit and the current takes us-

Cheryl, Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately we did not get back to the boat landing until after six and we just picked up dinner to eat here. Next Thursday will be the night before my surgery and I plan to go to the Maundy Thursday worship service at our church. (My daughter is a confirmand and they are running the service.) So... I likely will not meet you all in person until post-op. I do appreciate all of the support on here and I look forward to thanking y'all in person. If I have more questions, you can guarantee I'll be running to you with them! Hugs! Christine
