Wyn...here are a few protein shake recipes. It's hard to say what you will like after surgery...because believe it or not, some of the things I liked before surgery...I didn't like after...our taste buds go a little wacky So sweetie it's kind of trial and error...you just have to find what works for you. I hope these give you a little jumpstart. Tonya Snickers Bar Protein Shake 1 1/2 cups water or cold decaf coffee 1/2 cup skim milk 2 TBS cocoa powder 1 TSP sugar free caramel flavoring 1 TSP surger free butternut flavoring 2 Scoops of chocolate protein powder 4 ice cubes Chocolate Covered Cherry Shake 2 scoops chocolate protein powder 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup crushed ice 1 TBS sugar free cherry kool aid blend and then serve in frozen glass Cinnamon shake 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder 8 oz skim milk 1/2 cup of ice 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg combine in blender and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top. Banana Split shake 6 in banana 16oz Hood Carb Countdown Chocolate Milk 2 scoops of Unjury Vanilla protein powder blend, then serve over ice

I'm using the triple chocolate stats, but they are all close ... 185 calories 85 calories from fat 9 grams fat w/ 3 grams saturated fat 0 mg cholesterol 85 mg sodium 9 grams carbs w/ 1 gram fiber & 4 grams sugar (= 1 teaspoon) 14 grams protein THEY ARE DELICIOUS & VERY EASY ON THE POUCH CUZ THEY KINDA "MELT" WHEN YOU SWALLOW THEM SO THEY DON'T STRESS YOUR POUCH.
