NEW Surgery Date!!

Hi Everyone, I haven't been posting for a couple of weeks due to getting my daughter packed and off on her mission trip to help in New Orleans and then dealing with all the negative from my mother, she pushed me out of her life 15 months ago. BUT, I have a update and A NEW SURGERY DATE! My surgery date was originally for April 10th. Well, due to a mix up in insurance filling the date has been moved to April 17th one week later. So ....... MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2006 at 1:00pm Will be my surgery date and NEW BIRTHDAY! Love, Debra

Congrats Debra. I had mine on the 17th of March and I am doing great. I have had no complications!! It has been great, best decision of my life!! I wish you same!! You will do great!! Hugs Julie

Congratulations Debra I am soooo happy for you!! My surgery date is the day after you on Tuesday. We will be surgery buddies I am glad that everything has worked out for you on that front. Hey Debra... So glad to have you back...I updated your new surgery date to our "WEIGHT LOSS AND SURGEY DATE POST". You must be so proud of your daughter ...Missions is an awesome calling! I've tried to teach my sons, that you get more when you give. My prayer is that they take that with them as they live thier lives. I too do not have a relationship with my birth mother. She was abusive, so my siblings and I were taken from her when I was very young(thank GOD). Sometimes we have to shake the dust off our feet and keep on keeping on...ecspecially if the relationship is toxic. I've learned, that which doesn't kill us...makes us stronger. So hang in there...right now, focus on what you need. Surgery is stressful enough...you don't need all that other drama. Remember Debra, we're here for you if you need us. Tonya

SPEAKING ABOUT "GETTING MORE WHEN YOU GIVE", DO ANY OF YOU WATCH THAT PROGRAM "HOME EDITION MAKEOVER" (I DON'T THINK THAT'S THE ACTUAL NAME, BUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT) WHERE THEY HIRE A CONTRACTOR & PLACES LIKE SEARS & WEYERHOUSER DONATE ALL THE SUPPLIES ... &, THEY BUILD A NEW HOME OR OFFICE OR CHURCH OR MEDICAL FACILITY FOR STRUGGLING BUT DESERVING PEOPLE??? THIS COMING WEEK, THEY WILL BE REBUILDING A CHURCH & SOMETHING ELSE FOR KATRINA SURVIVORS, I THINK. IT'S AN UPLIFTING PROGRAM & I NEVER GET THROUGH EVEN THE 1st FEW MINUTES THAT I'M NOT TEARING UP ... IT'S HEAD-&-SHOULDERS ABOVE MOST OTHER PROGRAMS. CHECK IT OUT!
