Well, I am home now and feeling much better now! They are not joking about the walking, the more you walk to better you feel. You can actually hear the air moving as soon as you stand up. Everything went well with the surgery, but Dr. Bour said my liver was very LARGE. So him really having to use those spreaders to get to my stomach accounts for the tightnesss and pressure I was feeling in my chest. But with all of that, he was still able to it laporoscopically. Even though I get tired pretty quickly right now, I am able to do alot. Once I get this drain removed I'll be able to do a whole lot more! It is in the fold of skin right at my waistband, so it can get irritated sometimes. Melissa R. is the best ever!! Thank you guys for all your prayers and thoughts. Kathy

Hi back at ya ... So glad to know you're doing so well...and releived to know they didn't have to open you up...ouch! Here's to you and Dr Bour I know you're feeling like a super trooper right now, but don't over do it...make sure you rest ...and sip, sip, sip...then sip some more. I went through a spell of being exhausted...I attributed that to being part of the healing process...so if that happens don't be alarmed, that new body has to heal. Have a speedy recovery...Can't wait to see you Kathy. Tonya

Congratulations and welcome to the losing side Kathy. Take it easy the first few weeks and you will be fine. You need to move and sip, but don't do anything strenuous. Susann
