COOPER RIVER BRIDGE WALK

Hello! If you'd like to join us for the 2006 Cooper River Bridge Walk on Saturday, we're meeting at the Omar Shrine Temple (176 Patriots Point Street, Mt. Pleasant) at 8am. This will be our start, the walk will be about 4 miles instead of the full 6.2 miles. You should plan on being at the Temple by 7am. Bring some water and a high protein snack to munch on! You must register for the race even if you are starting with us but you will not cross the start so your chip will not activate. This means you will not get an official finish time. Also, if you're taking a shuttle bus over to Mt. Pleasant, note that the shuttles drop off at the Bridge Run/Walk start, which is about 2 miles from the Omar Shrine Temple. If you're going to drive over note that the bridges close to traffic at 7am, so come early. You can register online at www.bridgerun.com. I want to go so badly!!! I am thinking I am going to go have the stint put in and allow the swelling to go down, as every single night I have to take pain meds, so I might as well go have the stint put in and end this torture. The kidney stones are not related to the gastric bypass, and that is important to tell everyone. Don't be scared this will happen to you! I have had kindey infections and problems since my teens, and this is related to that, and of course we need to make sure we get our water in. I just had so many questions about the water issue, and I just want to make sure that people are not scared now of kidney stones. Have a great walk, I will be walking in spirit!
