Exercise and Hunger
Hi all. I joined Gold's Gym Monday and have started working out very aggressively. I have noticed that my appetite has increased some. Is this normal? I wasn't sure how appetite and exercise go together. I did a 1 hr step interval class last night and it was so intense. I made it through and it was fun, but WOW! I wasn't hungry last night, but today I have been starving. I am trying not to eat more than I normally do, but 30 mins after lunch I started feeling hungry. Any advice SC?

Thanks for the encouragement and the article link. I actually feel sick after working out. My ab muscles get so sore, last night I only had 1 piece of cheese whole wheat toast and some deli thin slice turkey. I was not really interested in food, but today- I am starving. I love working out and now that my energy levels are good, I am happy to have the stress relief.
