Hey all Just wanted to report on my first 10 weeks post op. Things have been going pretty good I have to say. No major complications. Most of my issues have been self-induced, eating too much or the wrong foods, etc. I did have one incident where I had gas traped in my pouch, let me tell you, that was painful!!! I was hurtting so bad that my husband was about to take me to the ER. That says a lot since he works in the ER and doesn't like to go back there unless he is having to go back to work. It finally passed and I felt better immediately. As of today I have lost 50#!!! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO I guess in all I am doing pretty well... --Kelly

Thanks, I lost 23# the first 2 weeks but then slowed down some. Over the first month I think I lost around 30#. I have been doing really good and don't regret my decision of surgery at all. --Kelly

That is real good! After your first month how many protein drinks do you drink a day? What is your routine during the day as far as eating (what foods?) and what kind of exercise?

I still have a hard time with protein. I force myself to have at least one drink a day. I just have a hard time with it. I tend to eat a lot of cheese for snacks and that helps up the protein. Just make sure you are getting the reduced fat cheese. As for exercise...I don't do that right now. I know I should but my son is in baseball and I just don't have the time except for at midnight!!! LOL!!! We have a new place that just opened up down the street, ContoursExpress. I have thought about checking it out...just don't know if I can swing the cost. --Kelly
