Does anyone know approximately how long you have to wait after the initial seminar, to have the consultation with the doctor? This is specifically for Riverside Surgical Group (Drs. Strickland, Givens, Antoinette) The office is supposed to call and setup and appt time, but I'm just wondering how soon I will be able to get in. Thanks!

Hey Rebecca I am a pt. of Dr. Strickland's. I was in his office for a consultation about 1 1/2 weeks after the seminar. Just depends on how busy the surgeon you choose to see is at the time they call. I really like Strickland. My good friend at work had Givens and she really likes him. I don't know anyone who has had Antoinette, but he assisted in my surgery and I have had no problems. Good luck, let us know how it is going. --Kelly

Rebecca, I am also a patient of Dr. Strickland. As soon as I called them when I got my money for the deposit together, I was given an appt. w/in two weeks. I saw them in Feb. and am scheduled for April 25 for surgery! Had my heart cath done today. Not everyone has to have one. Depends on size. You will love his office and him. They are wonderful. I have BC/BS and was approved 10 days after surgeon's office sent info to them. You can email me. Go check my profile by clicking my name on this post. Joan
