I am so ready for my new life, but so scared. I did not think that I would get this nervous. Who knew?

Congratulations!! It's very normal to be nervous. After all, it's a life-changing event. But, you can rest assured that you are in excellent hands with the team at MUSC. I'm so happy for you, because I not only know from personal experience what wonderful changes this surgery brought to my own life, but have heard and seen so many many more. It truly will offer you a new life. I wish you the very best and will carry you in my thoughts and prayers. If you are able, please attend one of our Low Country Bypass Buddies support meetings.
