~*~*~*~*~ OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! ~*~*~*~*~

Hi Everyone, I seen my Surgeon Dr. Ross yesterday afternoon and after I got through with the doctor I went around to the office window and talked to the insurance lady, (They call her the insurance ANGEL, and now I know why.) Because she asked me: "When do you want to have your surgery?" I said: "Are you kidding me?" She said: "Nope, Do you have a date in mind?" I said: "Well I was really hoping to have surgery right before my birthday or right after it." (My 46th birthday is April 6, So I figure she's going to laugh that one off and say something like ~ I don't think so! And give me a date of sometime between the end of May or even in June. But she said: "Well, The week before your birthday is Spring Break and We will all be out of town. But, let me see ....... How about April 10th?" I said: "For real????" She laugh and said: "Yes for real." I said: "OK, This will be an attentive date then right, since my paperwork won't go to the insurance company until Monday." She said: "No, that will be your date, there will be no problem with your insurance." I just started saying over & over: OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! "She said: "Are you OK?" I said: "Yes, I just had no idea I would get a date in April, I just thought it was wishful thinking. And when you actually gave me a date, IT MADE IT SO REAL!" My heart started racing and I started getting lite headed! I told my husband: "I can just see the headlines in the news paper now ~ [Woman finally gets a surgery date to change her life but dies of excitement with a heart attack] Yep! That would be me. I mean I have been researching this surgery for a year now, talking to people, reading others journals, But when she actually gave me a date, IT HIT HOME that this IS REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! LOL! I HAVE A DATE Y'all!! OH MY GOSH! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Doing The Happy Dance ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ God bless, Debra

**************CONGRATULATIONS*************** I'm so excited for you. I'm sure there's going to be alittle confusion about what to do next and if it were me I wouldn't know either !! But there's lots of wonderful ladies that have been there done that so they'll be a great source of information. Just try to calm down so nothing happens to you before your surgery. OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!! Debra, I am so EXCITED for you!! Angie is the best and she knows her stuff. You will probably go for pre-op on the Monday before your surgery, along with a pre-op class. I have an appointment with Dr. Ross on March 28, so I'll be sure to make sure that he takes good care of you!! We also have a post-op class the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the hospital, so I know that I will definitely be there to see you on that Tuesday!!! I'm just so excited!!! (((((((Dianne))))))) Thank you. I was so excited to get to post that I HAVE A DATE. I never thought this day would come. LOL! And YES, I will be at the meeting this coming Tuesday. I was at the "One Year Out Plus" meeting last night with another WLS friend. You may know her, her name is Sheri Singelton. I like going to those to so I can hear what they are saying, feeling and going through at that place of their Journey. It's always on the second Thursday of the month. There is also another meeting that was put together by the WLS patients, they meet the FIRST Tuesday of the month at the Westside Branch Library, I have been to two of those, No Doctors or nurses, just the WLS friends sharing things. Maybe I'm just emotional this morning, but you almost brought tears to my eyes reading your post. I was there in the 'moment' with you maybe?? Congrats on this start of your new life! I have my 5th round of plastics on 4/7 so we'll be close to surgery buddies!!

Awwwww Thank you Kimberly And Congrats on your plastic surgery! WOW! This will be your 5th round?? That must mean you have lost all your weight and doing great! When did you have your WLS? Do you have before & after pictures? What types of plastic surgery have you had and what are you having done on 4/7? Who is your plastic surgeon? Yeah I know, I'm just full of questions huh?
