Hey everyone. I am carefully writing as I am not wanting this to come out the wrong way. I have found some frustration over the last couple months with the organization of the monthly support dinner b/c many are unable to commit to attending. Therefore I never know who is or isn't going to show up. And tonight, although Lisa innocently forgot about the dinner, I spent an hour of my evening, and missed an hour with my daughter before she went to sleep to drive across town to a restaurant where no one showed up. Even though she was the only one on the boards who 100% confirmed she'd be there, the way it currently is, someone else could have shown up. I would LOVE to keep helping facilitate our monthly dinner. But I am only able to do it with a advanced commitment from people. Feel free to give your insight or feedback if anyone has alternate suggestions. Heather

Hey Heather I am sorry you had to do that last night. I know how aggrivating it must be to take on a task like this and no one back you up. Baseball has started for us so my availability is very limited right now. I just got the schedule and we have 24 games between now and June 15th. YIKES!!!! That's two games a week and at least two practices on top of that. Man, when will we get some time to ourselves? Not until the kids are grown and out of the house, then I will miss all the activity. LOL!!! If you want to drop out of organizing the meetings I understand...no offense taken. It will be a while before I can attend again. BTW -- When do you go back to Germany? We MUST get together before then!!!! --Kelly

Hello Heather... I know how frustrated it can feel to plan dinner and no one show up,.....I am sorry for letting you know I was not coming until the last minute... I have been a bit out of commission the the last few weeks.... I know you take your time to plan these meeting and we thank you for doing that.... I would suggest maybe from now on having a RSVP maybe a few days before the dinner date....That way if no one comments 100% to coming you don't waste your time going to the resturant... Which I know is frustrating waiting by yourself and no one show up.... Not only that if no one is coming from the other side of town we maybe could go to a place closer to home for us on this side of town... These are just a few idea that I had and If I can help you plan these meeting I would be glad to help.... Again I am sorry and hope you have a good weekend...Brenda....
