Anyone use Dr. Widenhouse as a PS????

I am ready to schedule an appt to see a PS for a Breast Lift consult. I wanted to know if anyone here had Widenhouse and if they were pleased with the results?????

My cousin and a friend used him, and like him a lot. My cousin had bad problems though and her incision split open...he said it was normal, but when she moved to FLA about 6 weeks after surgery another surgeon said he should have gone back and stitched it up or added some strong steri strips at the least. I was not impressed with his work, and I have had a breast lift in the past, and will need another one since I had gained and lost. Here are my plans....I am going to go see my old PS, Dr. Heikes, in Downtown Charleston...Southeast Plastic Surgeons with Dr. Costa. Then I am going to see Dr. Kline in Mt Pleasant, and depending what each one says, I want to make a decision to go to California. I also thought of going to get an opinion from Dr. Harvey as well, heard he was good. My friend who used Wiedenhouse had a reduction and did okay, but had some issues too. She doesn't look as good in my opinion, she is waaay too small now, and I think she thinks so too, but won't admit it. Here is my personal answer, and opinion since you asked... I personally will not use Widenhouse because I hate his work, think he is sloppy and not as good as I have seen. That being said, I cannot comment on his bedside manner, just what I have seen, and friends who work with him also said there are better surgeons. I won't use him. Deb, Have you ever heard of anyone using Dr. Hensel? I used him for my TT and had no issues. It is a little crooked but that is it. I will be looking into a breast lift soon though . I had a reduction when I was 17 and not they are flat...lol I had a consult with Dr. Kline....I did NOT like his personality. I am sure he does wonderful work but was NOT friendly at all. I had a friend that ised him also and was on a wound vac for several months there after. I used Dr. Hensel in Mt. Pleasent and had no porblems at all with healing. My results look wonderful...a little crooked but great. I have pics is you would like to see. Julie

Where can we see your ps pics, Ms Julie? I noticed on tv that some doctor's scars are crooked & some seem straighter. I'm not sure if that is due to the patient's skin texture or the doctor's talents ... Do you know?

Hey Dawn, it's nice to hear from you. I have lost a total of 125 lbs and NO, I am not at my personal goal or doctor's goal. I want to loose another 50 lbs. I started at a 30/32 and I am in a 20/22. I want to be a 16/18. I hope to have lost some more weight by this summer. I teach and I am interested in having my surgery while I am out for the summer. I have MUSC options. I hace called and they said that if it is deemed medically necessary, they will cover it. I am going to give it a try. Hell at least if I can not be skinny, I can have a flat stomach and lift my breast off the floor!!!

I have had a hernia repair, tummy tuck, and two breast augmentations from Dr Widenhouse since 2004.He did a awesome job and he has a great staff.See my pics for results.
