Hi, Deborah. Yes, I exercise. I walk on the treadmill every day. Somedays I walk for 30 min. once a day and some days I walk for 30 min. twice a day - just depends on how I feel that day. I'm 1-1/2 years out. Hugs, Connie 278/153/150

I am a very bad role model for this subject!!! I have not exercised regularly since I had my open rny may04. I have started a day or 2 here and there and never continue. My husband really gets on my case telling me I am going to lose what little muscle that I have. I am planning on a walking program with my neighbor in the mornings soon...wish me luck on that. My MIL just gave me 14 of Bily Blanks newest Bootcamp work out DVD's that if I wasn't so lazy...I would do them. I too would go to the base...but for one I hate going by myself...two it is too far to go all of time and three I have a 4yr old that I have to bring so I can only do cardio there. All in all...I am just lazy!!! I will get on the ball hopefully one day. I think Curves is ok for beginners...I suppose. I know a lot of people that liek it but it seems to me that you would out grow the benefits quickly. But I guess any exercise is better then none. I wish you luck.... WELL MS JULIE ... AFTER LOSING 126 #s ... WOWOWOWOW, YOU MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT EVEN IF YOU AREN'T EXERCISING REGULARLY YET!!!!!!!! WITH A 4 YEAR OLD, THERE CAN BE NOTHING ABOUT YOU THAT IS "LAZY" ... I BET YOU'RE EXERCISING HARDER CHASING AFTER THAT LITTLE ONE THAN YOU COULD EVER DO IN A GYM! IS DR HENSEL HERE IN THE SUMMERVILLE AREA? SEVERAL OF THE GIRLS ARE LOOKING INTO PS & SURGEONS ... WERE YOU HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK? Hello! Well as for me I never exercised. The weight just seem to come off by itself. I figured if I exercised I would lose too much. The only thing I regret not exercising is that my skin is not tight. I have lost 180 lbs and never exercised.

NOPE, I HAVEN'T EXERCISED YET. I WASN'T RELEASED MEDICALLY TO DO SO UNTIL ABOUT A MONTH AGO DUE TO MY HEART ISSUES. SINCE THEN, BETWEEN THE EXHAUSTION & TAKING CARE OF MOMMA, I SIMPLY HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY BACKSIDE INTO GEAR ... SO, I NEED TO FOCUS! AS FOR CURVES ... SEVERAL OF THE LADIES ON THE OCT BOARD GO THERE & ENJOY IT. THE ONES WHO LIKE IT ARE THOSE LADIES WHO HAVEN'T EVER EXERCISED, OR ARE OLDER & ARE REALLY NOT IN SHAPE ... ALSO, THE ONES *****ALLY DON'T LIKE THE MUSCLE & HARD BODY ATMOSPHERE OF MOST GYMS. THE DOWN SIDE IS THAT THEIR EQUIPMENT IS LIMITED SO, WITHIN ABOUT 6 MONTHS, YOU CAN EASILY NEED A MORE INTENSE WORKOUT THAN YOU CAN GET WITH THEM. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS A GOOD STARTING PLACE FOR MANY & IT ISN'T OVERWHELMING. GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK
