Good morning ladies~I am new to this so I hope im doing the right thing. I tried to send something yesterday and now I cant find it in the messageboard. You all seem like such friendly and compassionate people...I already feel blessed to be here!! Ive been looking at some of your profiles and comments...Youre so encouraging and uplifting and very helpful! I have just started..Went to my second seminar..And I have a dr appt with my pcp in 2 weeks..And I have to get my previous med records.. Im kinda scared though because I dont really have a long extensive list of med probs...And to be honest with you I havent been to my dr in almost a year because I am too ashamed for them to weigh me. I am so ready to fight this fight and I am even more ready to win!! I am shauna from spartanburg...And it is my pleasure to meet you all!!

I'm still sort of new as well but I feel like I've known everyone all my life. They each have a way of making you feel welcome and there are NO STUPID questions here. These ladies can answer just about any question you ask and they don't make you feel silly for asking. I love it here!! Suuz

Hello Shauna...A big SC forum welcome!!! My name is Tonya and I'm from Greenville...I've been here for a few months myself...and you're right these are the best bunch of folks you'll ever want to meet. I had my surgery on Feb. 8, 2006...THE BEST decision I've ever made for myself...I WOULD DO IT AGAIN in a heartbeat...and the sweet folks here have helped me through the journey so far. I'm excited for the journey you are about start...I know you won't regret it...choosing to live our best life is always exciting. Nice to meet you Tonya!! I see you are going to Dr.Baur...i went to a seminar of his back in May of last year. Hes really nice...and being so handsome helps alot...haha....i couldnt afford his fee at the time though. Glad to see someone so close...thanks for the welcome
