My Proposal! (and wedding plans)

I have the best boyfriend ever, actually he is my fiancee now (refered to as Mr. Wonderful)... I have to tell the story of my Pre-Valentine surprise. Here is how it went: We went to lunch on Monday at this little steak house. May (my friend) and Stanley (my fiancee's friend) met us there. I didn't think anything about it. When we got there is was SUPER busy. There was a reserved table and Mr. Wonderful insisted that we sit down there. We ordered and got our salad. All of a sudden these 4 men walk over to our table. All I could think was "great, we are sitting at their reserved table". It was a barbershop quartet and they sang "Let Me Call You Sweetheart". They gave me a red rose and a Valentine card. I was so shocked that I began to sweat. We took pictures and it was all so sweet. In my head, I thought how GREAT it was that Mr. Wonderful gave me such a nice V-Day present. I didn't think another thing about a ring because I was on cloud nine at having them sing! After we ate I was ready to go, but no one moved. Then I look up to see the owner coming around the corner with a big plate. On the plate was a piece of cheesecake and "Will You Marry Me" in strawberry syrup. She gave me the plate and the ring. I began to cry and couldn't talk. Finally I managed to get "yes" out. All the people there started to applaude after Stanley announces we would be getting married. It was like a movie. Mr. Wonderful had other friends there with cameras. I am so in love with this man. I haven't worked since Monday, but I have been sitting at my desk day dreaming. I still like reading that. It is all so surreal. The tenative date is in November. WOW, I am getting married. My friends and mother are so excited! My mom called yesterday to check on the BRIDE-TO-BE, it sounded so funny. Related to weight loss: I used to wear a snug size 9 ring. Guess what size I wear now? 6 1/2... I can't believe it, I have girl fingers finally. I might even be a skinny bride. AHHHHH

Of course I cried also. Since we are all former food people, I had to find out...Mr. Wonderful did eat the cheesecake. I am so happy for Kelly and so lucky to have her as a friend. I have not been good at work either, we have a wedding to plan!!!!!!!!!!! Mary
