No 90210 Doc for me...Bummer!

Well, I thought since I only have about 39/49 more pounds to go, I knew it would be a year wait to see Dr. Hunky Rey, so I like his boob jobs and he is very aggressive. I would have a while to save up for surgery. I called to get a consult, and the nice pretty, sexy sounding, perky girl on the other end of the phone said he does NOT do gastric bypass patients at all!! BUMMER Anyone know of a Dr. Rey type in SC?? Ha ha! At least I am getting close to thinking about it!! whoo hoo! I don't need a ton done, but I do want some problem areas addressed. Deb

I love my PS and he has lots of experience with gastric bypass patients. Dr Brett Carlin. He's in in West Columbia right beside Lexington Medical Center. 926-0969. I'd be glad to talk with you about anything you'd like to know. I've sent several people his way. I've gone 4 rounds with him already with round number 5 scheduled for 4/7.

I used to work for an MD who was certified in anesthesia and bariatric medicine (I know, how ironic, I'm smaller now by ten pounds than my lowest weight ever when I was on appetite suppressants and shakes). She would go work for the plastic surgeons here in town and do their anesthesia. She always said to go to Dr Costa for face and very precise delicate stuff. Richard (Duke) Hagerty and Dr Harvey are who she recommended for boobs and tummy tucks. I'm so excited for you being at this point. It seems very far away for me. Mary

Hello Deb... I like watching Dr. Ray myself... He does do a good job.. I did not realize he did not work on by -pass pateince either.. I HIGHLY recommend my Plastic Surgeon he has done 4 different surgery's on me after losing most of my weight... He does a great job .. I have been very pleased with all of my results.. He work in the same office building as my By-pass Doctor does in Columbia.. So he has done a lot of us by-pass patience's which is very important.. I would be glad to answer any question you may have just e-mail me and I will help you if i can... It is very important to get a doctor that know's how to work with getting all the skin removed or you will have alot of bad scares... I saw a lady that had her arms done and they look so bad...So be careful when selecting a doctor and make sure they have worked with this type of work before... I hope this help some... Hey Brenda, you and I have basically been down the same path with plastics and I too find that I'm going to need a revision to my thigh lift. Did insurance give you major pains with covering the revision? They covered my lift, so I'm praying they'll also cover the revision.
