Pulmonologist visit

I went to the pulmonologist because my PCP wants a sleep study done and revealed to the doctor that I was probably going to have WLS. Then she actually asks me, "Well, have you ever tried just dieting?"

I didn't know whether to laugh or smack her in the back of the head. So I just started listing my diet history for her starting with the most recent. She finally interrupted me at around 1998.

No more questions from her.

I vote on hitting her in the back of the head! People (including doctors) can be so ignorant about our problems. Good Luck.

THAT'S LIKE MS KYLEE (I THINK IT WAS HER) WENT TO THE DOCTOR & WAS ASKED WHAT PROBLEMS SHE WAS HAVING WITH WLS. SHE SAID THAT SHE HADN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THE DOCTOR?/NURSE? SAID, "JUST WAIT ... YOU WILL ... I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT WLS".

SO, I VOTE FOR A SMACK ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD. GOOD THING "WE" HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR OR THERE WOULD BE DEAD PEOPLE LEFT IN OUR WAKE!
