CREAMED SOUPS ... CREAM OF SHRIMP & SHE CRAB SOUP WERE MY FAVSSSSS!!!!!!! LOVED SCRAMBLED EGGS W/ HOOD CARB COUNTDOWN MILK BEVERAGE IN THEM COOKED IN A LITTLE BUTTER (NOW, DON'T TELL ANYONE!
) S-F FUDGECICLES, POPCICLES, PUDDINGS & JELL-O. IF YOU'RE GOING FOR PROTEIN, THEN TRY THE STALLONE PROTEIN PUDDINGS (CHOCOLATE - YUMMY), VANILLA (REALLY GOOD), BANANA (GOOD) & LEMON (VERY MILD FLAVOR).
OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TRIED GRITS, CREAM OF WHEAT, OATMEAL, & RUNNY MASHED POTATOS, BUT I HAD REAL TROUBLE WITH DUMPING WHITE CARBS SO I COULDN'T EAT THESE ITEMS UNTIL JUST LATELY.
OH YEAHHHH, LOW-FAT YOGURT & COTTAGE CHEESE WILL GIVE YOU A LITTLE VARIETY.
DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU CAN EAT SOMETHING ONE WEEK & THEN NOT THE NEXT ... OR, JUST THE OPPOSITE. UNTIL YOU'RE ABOUT 3 MONTHS OUT, YOUR POUCH CAN BE TEMPERAMENTAL ON A DAILY BASIS ... THEN, SOME PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM AT ALL.
EVERYTHING TASTED SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD TO ME ... EVEN BETTER THAN BEFORE SURGERY ... STILL DOES. BUT, I JUST DON'T HAVE A DESIRE TO OVEREAT SO I REALLY ENJOY MY FOOD NOW.

Cottage cheese is a great choice..loaded with protein!!
Mushy beans and string cheese sits well with me too..
I puree what ever I cook for the family..I make a lot of stews to serve on rice..but don't eat rice. Puree'd stew is wonderful! the meat gets tender enough for the blender to liquify and that's a good thing..more protein..I can't hardly stand those protein shakes..they just make me nausious.. and I try and get all the food items with it as I can. Just a few spoons full and I'm done with the stew..I can eat quite a bit of cottage cheese for some reason..
