IT IS SO GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK SAFE & SOUND! AHHHH, "THAT" EXTRA PRAYER WORKED!!! DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE TYLENOL, BUT I WAS GIVEN LORTAB ELIXIR 7.5mg/500mg/15ml & IT WAS THE BEST! YOU CAN TAKE 10-15ml EVERY 4 TO 6 HOURS. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PAIN ASSOCIATED WITH THE SURGERY ... A LITTLE PULLING & DISCOMFORT ... BUT, I STILL HAD MAJOR JOINT, HIP & BACK PAIN. ALL I NEEDED WAS 1 TEAS BEFORE BED & I SLEPT LIKE A BABY ... NO PAIN. THE MOST I EVER TOOK WAS 2 DOSES IN A 24 HR PERIOD. IF YOUR MEDS AREN'T CUTTING IT, ASK IF YOU CAN TOLERATE THIS. IF YOU STAY IN PAIN, IT WILL REALLY WEAR YOU OUT. YOU'LL BE A NEW WOMAN IN NO TIME! &, YOUR PASTOR'S WIFE WAS SOOOO RIGHT. I'M ALWAYS REMINDED TO BE CAREFUL WHAT WE ASK FOR BECAUSE GOD JUST MIGHT GIVE IT TO US & THEN WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH WITH WHAT WE ASKED FOR!!! YOU WILL BE SOOOO HAPPY YOU DID THIS! TAKE IT EASY ... KICK BACK & ENJOY THE RIDE ... IT'S A WILD ONE, FOR SURE, MS DIANNE! GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK

Thanks for those extra prayers, Dawn!! I bit the bullet and went ahead and used the liquid morphine that the doc gave me....just 1-2 drops every 4-6 hours. It's doing the trick without any headaches to go with it. I'm kicked back right now, and enjoying the ride. Every day is a new adventure!!! By the way.....do you drink the profect chilled or at room temperature?? Hugs, Dianne

EITHER WAY, MS DIANNE ... BUT, I DRINK IT AT ROOM TEMP AS MY POUCH GETS GROUCHY SOMETIMES. SO GLAD THE MORPHINE DID THE TRICK ... TAKE THE PAIN AWAY & WE CAN DO ANYTHING! YES MA'AM, EVEN OVER 3 MONTHS POST-OP, I'M NEWLY EXCITED EVERY DAY AS TO WHAT I CAN DO THAT I COULDN'T BEFORE ... HOW WELL I FEEL ... HOW MUCH WEIGHT, INCHES OR SIZES I'VE LOST ... I LOVE THIS WLS LIFESTYLE. BEST THING IS THAT NOTHING, NOT EVEN FOOD, HAS CONTROL OF MY LIFE NOW ... I'M IN CONTROL & THAT FEELS FANTASTIC. GOD BLESS FOR CONTINUED HEALTH & SUCCESSES DAWN & NICK

Hey Dianne, I'm so excited for you. I hope the migraines stop soon, please be care ful with the liquid tylenol, I tried some, then experienced my first dump...It was full of sugar to make it taste good for the children. Good luck and I can't wait to read about your progress. Mary

YEEE-HAW!!! I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE HOME!! LET THE LOSING BEGIN!!! So is the migraine gone yet? Question for you... If i try to plan something on a Sunday afternoon, do you think you can make it? Nothing concrete yet...looking at the 26th after you have had some time to heal. Leisa

Leisa, It was soooo gooood seeing you, while I was in the hospital!! You looked absolutely fantastic. My migraine is gone. Now just battling the pulling from the drains...but everyday is better!!! The weekend of the 26th, I'll be in the Smoky Mountains with a bunch of WLS singles from all over the country. Should be a wild weekend, but there is at least one other girl who had surgery yesterday that is going to be there, so I should be in good hands (also my 2 angels are in my cabin). Can we try something the next week??

Stephie, I'm sure if they need it, they will be able to use the one that you just had done. I didn't have to have one. One of the first things that you will have to do is go to a lecture, so ask Dianne when the next lecture is. I started this jouirney the first of September, so patience is something that I had to learn.....I was ready to do it YESTERDAY!! Hang in there, girl....it will happen!! http://www.srhs.com/surgical_weight_loss/index.htm Hugs, Dianne
