MS DIANNE HAD TO RESCHEDULE FOR THE 30th AS SHE HAD A BAD UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION ... BUT, IT SURE IS NICE TO SEE YOU BACK ON THE BOARDS, MS LEISA. HOW'S HUBBY & HIS BACK DOING? WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU? MS HEATHER POSTED & ASKED EVERYONE WHAT THEY'VE BEEN UP TO & HOW THEY HAVE DONE SINCE SURGERY. THE ANSWERS ARE AMAZING ... THE IMPROVEMENTS & SUCCESSES ARE NON-STOP! IN CASE YOU DIDN'T LOOK BACK FAR ENOUGH, I WAS F-I-N-A-L-L-Y MEDICALLY RELEASED LAST FRIDAY TO DO ANYTHING INCLUDING EXERCISE - MY MEDS ARE WORKING & MY HEART RATE IS WONDERFUL! LONG, TOUGH HAUL, BUT I'M FLYIN' NOW. GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK

Hi Dawn! I am really happy that you are doing better! It scares me to death when they have to mess with the ole ticker! Glad to here it!!! Have you decided what kind of exercise you will do...or are already doing? If you have the motivation to do it now...go for it! I am regretting that I didn't get more excited about that part a little earlier. Although I am happy with my weightloss progress, I wish I had summoned the initiative to workout b/c now I got thangs that are sagging! My butt, for example, used to be one of my finest "assets" (I couldn't resist) and it has dropped back down to its former small self but it would be much cuter if it didn't hang 2 inches lower off my hips. A co-worker and I have started working out together at a small employee workout room after work. Free, no instruction but virtually unused by any other souls and did I mention free?! Hubby is doing much better!!! Finally! He is still careful and slow in his movement but the ease of movement is improving! Plus he has been able to get his blood sugar back in control and that has seemed to make a HUGE difference in how he feels overall! Thanks for thinking of him! I hope Nick is doing well! Give him a big hug and tell him to take some pictures of your 50+lb weightloss! We wanna see your assets! Talk to you soon! Leisa

YEAH, BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT ... IF THEY DIDN'T WORK ON MY OL' TICKER, THEN I'D BE A DEAD DUCK! SO, BETTER TO DO SO THAN NOT. JUST HAVE TO TRUST GOD THAT HE DIDN'T BRING ME THIS FAR TO DROP THE BALL NOW. I'VE GOT A COMPUTERIZED RECLINE BIKE. MY BACK & HIPS ARE SUPPORTED WELL & ALL THE WORK IS IN MY LEGS & HIPS AS MY LEGS ARE OUT IN FRONT AS IF SITTING ON THE FLOOR. IT HAS PROGRAMS IN IT SO WHEN I AM IN BETTER SHAPE, IT CAN ACTUALLY MAKE IT SEEM LIKE I'M OUTSIDE BIKING IN THE HILLS AS FAR AS HOW TOUGH IT IS. WE ALSO HAVE A CARDIO GLIDE; LOOKS SO EASY BUT THAT THING WILL DROP YOU TO YOUR KNEES AS IT USES EVERY MAJOR MUSCLE GROUP IN A MOTION LIKE RIDING A HORSE. THEN, WE HAVE A "TOTAL GYM" WHICH WILL BE WHEN I'M REALLY, REALLY IN SHAPE. I GOTTEM AS WELL ... BEAUTIFUL ANGEL WINGS ON MY ARMS, MY TUSH TOUCHES THE BACKS OF MY LEGS ... OH MY WORD, MY INNER THIGHS LOOK LIKE WHO KNOWS WHAT & MY TUMMY HAS THIS AMAZING FOLD OF SKIN ... BUT, IT'LL GET BETTER AS WE EXERCISE & OUR "ASSETS" WILL "RISE" TO THE OCCASION! ... ALL EXCEPT MY POOR "SISTERS" & THEY'LL HAVE TO BE TIED TO MY EARS TO GET SOME LIFT ON THEM. PLASTICS, FOR SURE! GOOD DEAL ... A FREE GYM WITHOUT OTHERS USING IT; IT COULDN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT! I HAVE PRE-OP, HOSPITAL & 50 # PICS. JUST NEED TO SEND THEM OFF TO OBHELP PHOTOS DEPT TO PUT IN MY PROFILE. HOPEFULLY, THIS WEEK. IT'LL BE MY PLEASURE TO GIVE MY HONEY AN EXTRA BIG HUG ON YOUR BEHALF. HE'S DOING SUPERB; HAS LOST 11 #s AS WELL & SUGAR #s ARE FALLING WHICH IS WONDERFUL DIABETES-WISE. Hey Leisa, Yep, I had to make a decision last Thursday on my surgery. I was so congested and coughing horribly, even if I was up to it yesterday, I didn't want to be feeling so bad going into it. So, now my surgery is Monday, Jan 30 at 10:30 am. I'm off work today and then on Sunday (at least now I'm off to do the dreaded bowel prep!!). There are a couple of girls on the singles board who have asked to be my angels, so they should be posting on my progress. I'll be in the hospital Mon thru Thursday. Hey Girl! I am so sorry to hear about your delay but you made the right decision. Although the pain factor is much lower than I have had with other surgery I certainly would not have wanted to risk starting recovery while coughing my lungs out. OUCH! I will look for messages from your angels then next week and I will remark my calendar for your new time! Keep your chin up! Leisa
