Well, to say I'm running a little a little late is an understatement. I finally have my pre-op pics on my profile. This is for you guys who couldn't imagine me "before". AARRGGHH ... NICK'S ON HIS WAY TO THE DOC'S TO SEE IF HE HAS AN UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION ... A-G-A-I-N ... IF HE'S CONTAGIOUS, WE WON'T COME THIS EVENING. Hey There, Sorry I missed the get together @ K&W...I had a bad day yesterday. I have those alot lately. Uggh! Anyways I hope Nick is feeling better today. And I'll try my very best to make the next get together. I'm still learning how to get around on this site as well. There should be a book "Message boards for dummies" ! LOL !! I'm sure I'll eventually figure it out...I hope. Anyways I feel alot better today. I slept through the night then woke up tired...(anyone else ever done that?) then took a nap about 2pm and didn't wake up until 5pm. Whoa...I'm guessing it's just dealing with the pain in my knees...wears me out. Hope it doesn't mess up my sleep tonight. I hate when that happens! Can't wait to meet all of you. Making a list of questions to ask...hehe! Y'all probably won't want me to come back cos you won't be able to eat cos I'm asking too many questions. I'll try to take it easy on ya ! NOT TO WORRY, MS SUUZ. WE ALL HAD THOSE PAINFUL DAYS WHEN WE WERE JUST WHIPPED FROM TRYING TO HANDLE IT. THAT WAS SO GREAT AFTER SURGERY ... ABOUT 4 WEEKS POST-OP, I COMPLETELY WENT OFF ALL PAIN MEDS, WHICH WAS 8 - 10 DOSES A DAY. NOW, I MIGHT TAKE A DOSE ONCE A WEEK OR SO. THE PAIN HAD DIMISHED 98% & I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON. DIDN'T TAKE MUCH WEIGHT LOSS ... MAYBE 25 - 30 #s FOR ME. I'VE READ THIS FROM OTHERS AS WELL ... SO, JUST THINK ... YOU HAVE PAIN-FREE DAYS AHEAD TO LOOK FORWARD TO! NO PROBLEM ON THE QUESTIONS ... WE'LL JUST SIT YOU ON A LAZY SUSAN & SPIN YOU AROUND ... WHOEVER YOU FACE HAS TO ANSWER YOUR NEXT QUESTION. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 100 QUESTIONS THE 1st TIME, YOU GET STUCK WITH THE BILL!!!!!!!!!! JUST JOKING ... FIRE AWAY, GIRL ... THAT'S WHY WE'RE THERE ... TO HELP EACH OTHER ALONG THIS SOMETIMES CONFUSING JOURNEY!
