Made it to the Gym Today!!

I can't believe I made it to the gym on base today! My hubby has PT 2x a week or more, so I went with him today, and it was actually fun! I did 7 minutes on the elliptical and then 30 minutes on the bike, my butt was asleep when I got off, haha I then signed up with the personal trainer for next week, so here goes! I don't want to have to get too much plastics, so my motivation is high. I still want to take dancing lessons...fun! any takers who want to dane? Oh, here is the funny part, my legs were like jelly when I was done, ha ha, and had to walk up stairs when I got home, ouchie. I hope to be bringing or meeting a lady from my husband's squadron, Michelle, on Thursday nite. She is active duty and is having trouble getting approved with Byrne being active duty.....way to go military! NOT! See y'all tomorrow night!! Deb

WELL, GOOD FOR YOU, MS DEB ... I'VE NEVER BEEN ON AN ELLIPTICAL ... WOULD PROBABLY FALL OFF ... A TAD BIT CLUMSEY, I AM! DOC STILL WON'T RELEASE ME TO EXERCISE YET. AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!!

I almost went to the gym on base today but I had NO ENERGY!! My mind is saying exercise but my body can not go. Yesterday I felt sluggish but today was beyond that. I woke up today thinking I am going to go exercise and I will feel better but all I could do was lay around all day. This lack of energy just started. I hope it goes away. I am only 3 weeks post op as of yesterday. Maybe one day I will see you there! Congratulations!! Theresa Zimmerman

YOUR POOR BODY IS STILL REELING FROM THE SURGERY & ALL THE CHANGES. 3 WEEKS IS STILL PRETTY SOON TO GO CRAZY WITH EXERCISE. YOU'RE JUST COMING DOWN OFF THE SUPER-SWOLLEN TIME. I go to the gym on base atleast 4 times a week. Would love together with anyone that would like to meet. I get off work at 4:30 and I am normally at the gym by 4:50-5:00. I work 30 min on elliptical and then do 9 reps in circuit training either on arms, legs or abs. Britt
