Tummy Tuck Advice
AS ALWAYS, THE BEST THING TO START WITH IS GET A COPY OF THEIR CRITERIA. MOST INSURANCES WON'T PAY FOR PS UNLESS YOU HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES LIKE A HERNIA, RASHES, ETC, BUT CHECK THEIR CRITERIA TO BE SURE.
THERE IS A MESSAGE BOARD WITH A TON OF INFORMATIONAL LINKS FOR PS. CHECK OUT ...

The Nurse Practioner told me yesterday they would give me a referral, but I know my insurance will not pay, so I told her it did not matter. I will choose who I feel comfortable with. I had a mini tuck about 3 yrs ago and I liked my doc, but to have to go somewhere else because of insurance, forget it. There is one doctor that people have mentioned on here a few times up in Trident...no names please, but I have not heard good things about him. I want to research more as I was not very thrilled with my previous doc either, a little dog ear at the end of the incision. Oh well, I suppose I better start saving now.
I would like to know more about Dr O. I am getting close, but not there yet, just starting to think out loud more...hmmm
Thanks!
Deb

KEEP US POSTED ON YOUR FINDINGS, MS DEB.
I WOULD IMAGINE THAT DR O HAS AN INFORMATION SITE AT MUSC LIKE DR BYRNE DOES. IF HE'S HALF AS GOOD AS DR B, I'D LOVE TO HAVE HIM & BE BACK AT MUSC!
I'M CHECKING OUT TRI CARE'S CRITERIA JUST TO SEE IF THERE IS A CHANCE THEY PAY FOR AT LEAST PART OF IT.
GOD BLESS
