LCBB Thursday Night Meeting - Suggestions Anyone???

Hi all. Thought I would post early this week and try to get some input as to where to meet. Seems like Northwoods area is middle ground for most of us but which place to meet is always a question. I thought Northtowne worked well last week but wanted to get suggestions from all of you as to other places we might try. I am open to anything, just let me know what you think. Susann

NORTHTOWNE WAS GREAT & WE'D LOVE TO GO THERE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. WE MISSED THAT NIGHT, BUT WAS "WINGS" A GOOD PLACE/FOOD? IS THERE A LA HACIENDA IN THE NORTHWOODS AREA? THE ONE ON DORCHESTER NEAR COOSAW CREEK HAS A PATIO (FOR WARMER WEATHER) THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR ALL OF US TO MEET IN. I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE WANTS TO TRAVEL TO MAIN STREET IN SUMMERVILLE, BUT WE LOVE LOGAN'S & WE'VE BEEN TO THE ATLANTA BREAD FACTORY. THERE'S A TON OF RESTUARANTS ON MAIN STREET BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW FAR THAT WOULD BE FOR EVERYONE. WE OUGHT TO WRITE A LIST OF ALL THE PLACES WE'VE BEEN & EACH OF US SHOULD WRITE A LIST OF WHERE WE'RE INTERESTED IN GOING IN THE FUTURE (EVEN IF IT'S NOT IN THE NORTHWOODS AREA, GOING TO A DIFFERENT AREA EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WOULDN'T BE THAT MUCH OF A STRAIN, WOULD IT?) ... Hi Dawn. We need to discuss location this Thursday night. I know we have some West Ashley people who wouldn't want to go any further out (Northwoods is far for them) and we have some Moncks Corner people who don't want to go further away than Northwoods Mall, that was the reason we were meeting there. We have a La HA in Goose Creek, but that is getting further away too. We'll talk and put this to a vote this Thursday night. Susann

GOTCHA ... I'M FAIRLY DIRECTIONALL-IMPAIRED ... SO, I'M OBLIVIOUS TO WHERE PEOPLE LIVE IN RELATION TO NORTHWOODS MALL OR ANYWHERE ELSE. I LIVED IN CALIF FOR 19 YEARS ... A DRIVE WASN'T CONSIDERED A LONG ONE UNTIL IT WAS OVER 2 HOURS EACH WAY! WHAT ABOUT CRACKER BARREL ON ASHLEY PHOSPHATE AT 1-26? IT'S JUST AROUND THE CORNER FROM NORTHWOODS MALL ... WELL, MAYBE NOT ... I'D CALL IT "JUST AROUND THE CORNER" ... WHATEVER EVERYONE ELSE WANTS ... NICK & I DROVE CROSS COUNTRY SO ANYTHING HERE IN THE LOWCOUNTRY SEEMS LIKE A SHORT DRIVE TO US. Okay one and all, I have made an "executive decision" regarding this Thursday's meeting. Mary suggested KW Cafeteria first, so lets go there and we can all talk about where we would like to meet/try, etc. from there. Maybe we can all throw out a suggestion and we will go there on a first come/first served basis - you know, whoever gives me an idea first, that is where we go..... Just trying to keep the troops all happy! Susann
