I'm a newbie

Hey everyone I am having surgery on Monday the 9th, I would like to ask all the prayer warriors to remember me in their prayers this weekend. Feeling a little anxious, but the reward far outweighs what I have to deal with now.

Dear Gloria Dr. Morgan did my surgery in 2004. She is a wonderful doctor. I just love her. Your feelings are quite normal. Congratulations on having the strength to make the decision to change your life. You're in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you the best on your journey. When you get home, rest and take care of yourself, though some of us are known to go on shopping sprees on the way home from the hospital-resist that urge (lol , Towana). Get enough fluids in and stay warm. Follow the orders they give you at the hospital and you will be fine. If you need someone to talk to, jump on this forum, or call me at 729-5209. Try not to compare your progress to others. We're all the same, but different, too, so don't be too hard on yourself. When you're back on your feet, please join us one Thursday night at our support group. The Low Country Bypass Buddies meet for dinner in the Northwoods area. We are at all stages of this process and we have the best times together. We'll all be pulling for you. Hope to see you on the losing side! Let us know how you're doing. Love, Barbara

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement! I did go out last night and my husband treated me to two new nightgowns, that was nice. I will get in touch with the group as soon as I am able to get out.
