Today is my birthday...

I am 28 years old today! I really want some Publix marble birthday cake with the butter cream icing. (visions of calories dance in my head) With that in mind, I will say this. I stepped on the scale this morning and I weigh 60lbs less than I did on Sept 30, 2005. (my surgery date) So while the cake is such a sweet thought, I will eat my minimal protein diet and continue on. It is much sweeter to wear clothes from the regular size side of department stores. I am officially a size 14 today. Last night I was fitted for a bridesmaid dress and WOW, I couldn't believe the size. I actually wanted to be measured again and again. AMAZING! My friends are taking me to eat su****onight. I love that stuff now and it is allowed. Here is a pre-thank-you to Mary and Christee for dinner tonight. Sorry to miss the Thursday night meeting, but I am sure not everyone has a taste for seafood prepared that way. HOORAY for all post WLS patients! We may not eat cake, but we sure do feel better! (and look better too)
