Sick

Oh my, I am to have my filter put in next Wednesday and my by-pass on next Tuesday. I just called the dr's office and the earliest I can get in is 3:30 today. I am a basket case!!! I don't want to be denied surgery casue I am not feeling well... Dang people that insist on going out and infecting everyone else just cause it's Christmas and they "just can't stay home"!!!! --Kelly

You're right...dang 'em, dang 'em. Just keep in mind with all the antibiotics they have out there now maybe it won't make a difference. If you get postponed, there was a cosmic reason for it anyway. You want everything to be perfect on your big day to ensure the safest outcome! (Can you tell that I got postponed way back when?) I had to work hard to come to a place of convining myself of that philosophy. Good Luck! Feel better soon! Leisa

Thanks for the encouragement Leisa. I hope it is just a cold. I have called my surgeon to keep them informed about what is going on. They think that if I can get on anti-boitics (sp?) that I should be ok. --Kelly

I went to the doctor and I have upper respitory junk!!! Yeah me!!! They put me on anitboitics but I am still coughing and hacking. I am so tired of coughing. This better not keep me from surgery. --Kelly

SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR BOUT WITH "THE BUG" & HOPE YOU HAVE BEATEN IT BY NOW. I'VE HAD IT TWICE & NICK HAD IT SO BAD THAT HE HAD TO HAVE A STEROID INJECTION + Z-PACK ANTIBIOTICS. WE SPENT MOST OF OUR CHRISTMAS VACATION IN BED SLEEPING. BUT, WE BOTH ARE FEELING BETTER NOW & HOPE THAT YOU ARE AS WELL! GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK
