I'M APPROVED

Unless the little insurance girlie made a mistake. I called Cigna on my cell while driving through the Atlanta traffic and I'm pretty sure that is what she said. It was just sent last Wednesday. Anyway, the girl that handles insurance in my surgeons office won't be back in until Thursday, so I can't get everything confirmed until then. While this is GREAT news, I'm a majorly stressed. My "right-hand woman" (the one who handles things for me while I'm traveling) turned in her notice yesterday. I'm in Atlanta all week...back home on Saturday, then flying out Sunday for 10 days (again for work) to Rhode Island, Massachusettes and Connecticut . Then my boss wants me to hurry up and get the surgery so I can get it over and back to work so I can train a new person (my surgeon said that if I got approved quickly, I should be able to get my surgery by the end of January ). I'm tired already Hugs, Dianne

Yeah Dianne!!!! I am soooooooooooo happy for you!!! We need to get together before you go into surgery! There are a couple of newbies that wanted to know when we get together again so I will try and plan something. When are you back in town for any length of time? I may be in early enough to make the Thursday night group next week! I think that would be tremendous fun! Then we can plan our kipnap strategy and our Goodwill hunting trip! I'll let you all know all about it as soon as I can..They have me down for three days in the hospital, but say I may get to come home the next day. My surgery is at 1:00 tomorrow, I have to be there at 11:15. I've picked up a little cold, and went to my preops feeling not so good, Tuesday..hopefully my lung xray will be clear and hopefully the coughing is from the nasal drip. I can't imagine coughing like this with the little holes in my stomach after the surgery.. I'm so aware of my body today..every little ache and pain, but I'm sure it's just a bit of paranoia..I'm really, really nervous and emotional today. I was hoping my mother would be here, but she is sick with the flu. Mom lives 200 miles away and I feel a enormous need for her right now. "I want my mommy" LOL She's not too happy with me going thru this, and I've tried to explain, but she thinks I can diet and exercise the weight off..I'm tired of the diet pills and the losing game when the weight just comes back again and again, more and more. I wish I had her genes..she is nearly 6' tall and weighs 127..the same as when she got married 49 years ago. She tires to gain weight! She just doesn't understand a weight problem tho' she's seen it kill so many of us on daddy's side of the family. Bless her heart. All four of us sisters all took after daddy. We all battle with the weight. I'm the oldest and biggest. Gosh, I have the nervous rambles! Anyway, I'm greatful to have you ladies and your support and encouragement! I haven't told anyone here except of course my husband know's and is supportive, but somewhat in denial of some sort..and one friend who lives near here, she will be at the hospital with my husband and son tomorrow.
