Let's list some of the superstitions we have always associated with New Years! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -What you do on New Years day, you do all year long.(I ALWAYS call EVERYONE in my family and talk so that I will be able to talk to them ALL year long!!) -Never was clothes on New Years day, 'cause if you do someone in the family will pass!!(I HATE this one!!!) -And eat that dinner I described elsewhere, lots of it!! The diet always started on Jan. 2nd!!! Patty

My Mom always said not to take the Christmas Tree down until after New Years.....and the others you listed were a part of our superstitions. This year I am spending New Years in the Mountains with 3 of my sisters and their families. We are all renting houses in the same area and I think there will be almost 30 of us all together. My Mom passed away last February, so this has been a hard Christmas for us and I think this trip is just the healing we need. Happy New Year everyone! Susann

WE CERTAINLY HOPE THAT YOU & YOUR FAMILY HAVE A MOST ENJOYABLE TIME TOGETHER, & FIND THE HEALING YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR. A PLACE WHERE MEMORIES OF YOUR MOM ARE COMFORTING & BRING LAUGHTER & CHATTER OF "DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN MOM DID SO-&-SO". MAYBE THERE WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL SHE DID THAT YOU COULD BRING INTO YOUR FAMILY AS A TRADITION TO HONOR HER. BUT SOON, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SMILE WHEN SHE COMES TO YOUR MIND ... & WE PRAY THAT, THAT TIME IS NOW! PEACE & COMFORT FOR YOU, MS SUSANN DAWN & NICK
