Sunday Morning

Hi all! Well, my daughter and i just got home from church and I'm here sipping on some unsweet tea and slowly biting a steak biscuit i got from bojangles. I've taken 2 bites..my goal is 5. ( mind you less than 1/4 of the sandwich will be gone..) My DH will be home within 8-11 days. The way it falls he'll be here for our daughter's 1st bday, as well as Christmas. We'll be traveling to Missouri for Christmas so it'll be a busy time, but I'm excited! It has been since June 5th that i saw him last. Our daughter was just over 5 mths when he left and she'll be almost 1 when he gets here. And when he left I weighed about 60 + lbs more than i do right this minute. So---needlesstosay, there are going to be lots of changes for us! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM....

I am happy for you! My husband is due home on the 10th.We are in the Air Force and he is an FCC (flying crew chief) and has been gone for 6 weeks. He will be here for the surgery and then will be leaving out again for 6 weeks about 3 weeks after my surgery. What a change for him to come home to you after you have lost 60+ pounds! Congratulations and happy homecoming for him!

Great job!! I know you're excited, I can only imagine what he's going to think when he sees you! Sounds like we all have missing hubbys! Mine is in Alabama for 3 more weeks, he'll be gone 6 total. He's graduation NCO Academy on 12/20 and he'll be home sometime overnight that night! I'll probably only have lost maybe 10 more lbs between times seeing him, he was home for Thanksgiving... We're thinking about moving back to Lexington, too, Heather! We moved here from there and really miss it! Cross your fingers that DH will be able to find a decent job up there, I'll be back as soon as he does! We were upset that our house never sold, it's been on the market since May, but now it looks like that may be a good thing after all!! Rebecca
